children and mindfulness
I'm sure all parents have heard this before, but its something we can all use a reminder on; kids won't stay little forever.
So after a long day, when you pull into your driveway and they are sleeping (or faking it), pick them up and carry them inside.
When they want to watch the Paw Patrol movie for the 90th time this month, sit and watch it with them on the couch. Those cuddles mean everything.
Raising kids can be hard, but there will come a time when we won't be carrying them inside anymore, their little heads resting on our shoulders. Savor every moment.
